Ingredients
Base & Protein
• 2 pouches Ben’s Original Ready Rice (par-cooked)
• 5 eggs (3 scrambled into the rice, 2 fried for topping)
• Breakfast Sausage
Veggies
• 1 cup cherry tomatoes (keep on vine or halve if preferred)
• 1 cup bean sprouts
• 2 green onions, thinly sliced (white and green parts separated)
Sauce & Seasonings
• 2 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
• 1–2 tbsp Bachan’s Japanese Barbecue Sauce
• Sriracha mayo (for drizzle garnish)
• 1–2 tsp chili crisp (for dollops on top)
• 1 tsp sesame seeds (garnish)
Preparation
Step 1 - Prep
Preheat your Blackstone griddle to medium-high heat. Lightly oil the surface. Have all ingredients prepped and ready — this cooks fast once it starts.
Step 2 - Cook the Sausage
Drop sausage directly on the griddle. Cook through, chopping it up into small pieces
with your spatula. Move to a cooler zone once browned.
Step 3 - Griddle the Tomatoes
Place the cherry tomatoes (still on the vine if desired) near the sausage. Let them blister
and soften while everything else cooks.
Step 4 - Steam the Rice
Add the Ben’s par-cooked rice to the griddle. Splash a bit of water on it and cover with a
dome lid to steam for 2–3 minutes. This softens and rehydrates it fully.
Step 5 - Build the Fried Rice
Uncover the rice and toss it to fluff. Mix in the sausage and white parts of the green
onion. Push rice to one side. Crack 3 eggs into the open space and scramble on the griddle. Once cooked, mix them into the rice. Add bean sprouts and let them soften slightly—1–2 minutes. Then drizzle with soy sauce and Bachan’s. Toss everything together for a glossy, savory finish.
Step 6 - Fry the Eggs
Crack 2 more eggs onto a clean spot on the griddle. Fry sunny-side-up or over easy, your
choice.
Step 7 - Plate & Garnish
Plate the fried rice, top each portion with a fried egg. Garnish with: a drizzle of sriracha mayo, a sprinkle of sesame seeds, green onion tops, and dollops of chili crisp
